december 7th as a take a look outside from our mount tam cam. >> will begin this morning with news out of japan were strong earthquake jolted the northeastern part of the country. a 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck in the pacific ocean around 5:18 p.m. local time. that is around midnight here in san francisco. the u. s g s says the are quick stroke about 200 mi. off the coast of japan. the epicenter was about 6 mi. beneath the seabed. buildings in tokyo's way for several minutes. there were reports of at least two people injured.

maps the first one including injuries south bound 101 there is an accident blocking at least one of the lanes three cars currently involved. the vehicle may be on its roof in the middle lane. no back up just yet emergency crews including the chp and fire on the scene. there is no estimated time when the lanes will reopen. drive with extra caution. you may want to tack on a few extra minutes to your drive. on the other side of the freeway in palo alto northbound 10 on the bayshore at university. the on ramp is shut down due to another accident. i do not think this one includes any injuries. you cannot get off on university you will have to be too. because it is early we are not seen any delays to traffic. hopefully we will have more information in my next report. we have a couple of other accidents to around

welcome back. the time is 2:00 p.m. now for the market and a day. stocks closed little gains amid the ongoing budget talks in washington. apple stock rebounded from wednesday's drop off after ceo tim cook said the company would start making mac computers and the u.s. next year. there is a look at the numbers on wall street. the dow gained nearly 40 points to close about 13,000. the nasdaq was up 16 and the s&p 500 gained

welcome back the time is for 3:00 p.m.. local reservoirs have seen a much needed increase in water level since last week end storms. reservoirs in santa clara improved significantly with the rain fall, but levels are still not exactly where they need to be. since last wednesday, the santa clara valley water district says ever stores and their 10 reservoirs' increased from 74 to 91 percent of weather should normally be. that's an increase of nearly 4 billion gal. of water. and over in the east bay, reservoir levels increased about 3%. east bay mud says all their reservoirs are now
